Hon. Ahmad Aliyu Mato was elected Executive Chairman of the LGMS in 2023. He holds a B.Sc. in Public Administration from the University of Jos and has served in various capacities in local governance for over 15 years.
Under his leadership, the council has prioritized infrastructure development, transparent budgeting, and digitization of government services.
Barr. Peace Ngo Dung is a legal practitioner with extensive experience in community law and governance. She serves as the Vice Chairman and oversees the Departments of Women Affairs and Social Services.
